MASSIVE Mascara Review/Comparison

Since I have three essays due this weekend and I haven't started 2 of them, I'm just gonna copy everything from my old blog to here.
I have no idea what this entry should be called, 'cause it's like a very short review for every mascara, but it's more like a comparison...so yeah... I'm sorry if you have no idea what i'm saying because I have no idea what I just said. I'm asian, I don't speak English lol.
Alright, enough bullshitting, let's get down to business. (to defeat the Huns!........)
I will be reviewing 8 mascaras (the 2 dark red ones are the same). From L to R:
Maybelline - XXL
Dior - Diorshow
Kiss Me - Long & Curl (the 2 red ones)
Clinique - Lash Doubling
Clinique - High Impact
Estee Lauder - Projectionist
Fasio - (I have no idea what's the name of this mascara in English...I'm so sorry..)
Maybelline - Great Lash BIG

1. Maybelline - XXL
Price: Probably around $10? idk, it was a long time ago.
This was my first mascara, I was expecting so much from it. But I was not satisfied at all.
The white side has some tiny fibers in it, and the black side was really black and thick. It gives some volume to my lashes but not like WOW.
What's bad about this mascara is that the black mascara can never cover the whites perfectly. I had 3 coats on and there's still trace of whites. It does not hold the curl, well maybe it works for some people but not me, I have short straight lashes (you can tell). And guess what? It's not water-proof at all. Basically it smudges after 2 hours everytime I wear it.

2. Dior - Diorshow
Price: $24 according to their website. Mine came with a travel set/palette.
This one was AMAZING. I love the gorgeous packaging, it looks so elegant, and I like the wand. It gives my lashes a lot of volume, they look so full and thick after the application. Not much length. But it holds the curl pretty well.
The only cons is it's not water-proof. Well they have a water-proof version of it but mine is not a waterproof one so it doesn't really count. And oh yeah it's pricey.

3. Kiss Me - Long & Curl
Price: $7.4 (59HKD)
This is definitely my HG mascara. It gives a lot of length to my lashes. My lashes can actually touch my glasses after a few application, amazing. It doesn't give much volume like Diorshow does, but I usually use Dior and then this one so my lashes look full and long. Perfect. The wand might be too small for you, but it fits perfectly for asian eyes (lashes), you might want to use the wand from some other mascara to apply it. Anyway it holds the curl all day long, from 8 am to 10 pm. And it's super waterproof, I was wearing this to every single one of my swimming practice, it never smudges, and no flakes. And it's very affordable! . God, it's perfect.
Cons? Hmmmm... It gets too dry after 3 months, but it's cheap so you can always buy a new one once it became hard to apply. Or you can just put it in hot water for 15 minutes.

4. Clinique - Lash Doubling

Price: $14 (Mine came with the gift set when I was buying the Perfectly Real founation)

I have not much to say about this mascara since it doesn't really do anything for my lashes, and it's not like really bad that I have to write an essay about it. It gives a little bit of length and volume, doesn't really hold the curl, not waterproof.

5. Clinique - High Impact

Price: $14 ( I bought mine at Bonjour, a beauty supply store in Hong Kong)
It's pretty much the same with Lash Doubling. The wands are different, otherwise I can't really tell the difference between the two...

6. Estee Lauder - Projectionist
Price: $19.50 (I bought mine at Bonjour, a beauty supply store in Hong Kong)
Pretty much the same with the two Clinique mascaras lol. I seriously can't tell the difference between them: not much volume, not much length, not waterproof, smudges, doesn't hold the curl. Oh well Estee Lauder is more expensive than the Clinique's but I bought my sample size one at the price of 10HKD, so it's like $1.28.

7. Fasio
Price: ~$12 (~100HKD)
I would say this is an either-love-it-or-hate-it mascara. And I'm on the hate it side. It has the most obnoxious wand you could ever imagine, I thought it's kinda cool at first, and that's why I bought it (I heard Mary Quant has a mascara with the same kind of wand). It's tinyyyyyyy, and it works well for my lower lashes since they're super short. But I will never use it on my upper lashes again, it clumps, it clumps so badly and you can NEVER apply it evenly on your lashes. The content is very watery and it takes forever to dry. It is very waterproof and smudgeproof, even more waterproof than Kiss Me, but it is so hard to remove. It took me like half and hour to take it off...I will never use it again...

8. Maybelline - Great Lash BIG
Price: $5.99
This mascara really doesn't do anything. The brush is wayyyy too big for my asian eyes, I got mascara all over my lid when I was using it for the first time. The content is super wet and never dries, it gives no volume or length at all. All it does is holding the curl and making my lashes darker.

As you can see, the Kiss Me mascara really gives my lashes length and volume without clumping. It holds the curl really well. I would say it is the best out of the 8 mascaras I have reviewed.
Diorshow is not bad, it gives a lot of volume and holds the curl but it is not waterproof, and it clumps sometimes.
I know the picture is small. Sorry. :x

Here's the waterproof test.
